Since everyone else seems to be doing this... I started as well (although it took me two months to actually publish the first page). We'll see how long it will last...

Fruit Heaven

--- --- --- ---

Lots of people asked me what I do on weekends in Bangkok, so let me share with you.

I usually go to my lessons of some kinds (belly dance, of course, and I started my Thai language course this weekend, so that will be added.), go shopping (doing my portion of contributing to the Thai economy), getting massages, and finding good coffee/coffee shop (mainly for now, I am at Starbucks, sadly), and of course, other exciting stuff like doing laundry and struggling with non-performing vacuum cleaner.

I actually have an OK kitchen, but I rarely eat home on weekdays due to in-humane working condition. And this makes it difficult for me to buy stuff and cook only for weekends. Sad... because I used to love cooking! But anyway, I try to eat as much fruits as possible in Thailand. There are so many kinds of fruits here, and they are all so cheap. Mangoes and mangosteen were so expensive, sold individually (individually bubble wrapped) in Tokyo. Here, you can get a bag-full for less price than what one would cost in Tokyo...

I am off to Cambodia for a week, starting tomorrow. Will let you know all about it, when I come back..

Sounds awesome! Will have to come and visit - although not until 2008 at the earliest... almost out of vacation and it is only July 2007. Sad. =(
